What would you think I looked like when I say I'm 17 and im into:
Evenesance, ( rock )
Bring me the horizon ( heavy metal )
Of mice and men ( heavy metal )
We butter bread with butter ( heavy heavy heavy german metal )
AC/DC ( Old time metal )
Just plain ol'screamo, metal, and rock...
Blind Guardian
Alestorm
For a bit a fun.
Kamelot For my more melodic tastes but I haven't heard the new singer yet.
DevilDriver
Dark Tranquility
For my harder tastes.
Some other include Dethklok yeah yeah from the cartoon but they might as well be a band.
Disturbed, not the most inspired by I like a lot of their rhythms.
Judas Priest of course.
And smaller collections of other bands who are more hit and miss than these.
Make sure to register for the wiki and add to it!

I love Ellegarden. I have every song on every CD by them.
Have you also tried Radwimps? Another japanese band, slightly different sound but they do a similar thing to ellegarden and have some songs in english and some in Japanese.

Radwimps? I will search them on youtube to see if I like them. To be honest didn't think I would see someone on here who likes ELLEGARDEN
For some reason ELLEGARDEN songs have this weirdish nostalgic feeling when I listen to it. Can't understand why.
Hmm listened to a song by Radwimps the song seems great. Defiantly something I would listen to thanks for telling me about them ^_^

Heavy metal - - Death metal - - Instrumental metal - - Every kind of metal and heavy stuff actually.
And also dubstep and other weird fast disco shit that makes me feel like I had Colourful toad-tarantulas playing Lollipop chainsaw and telling funny jokes in ma brain
. Also some Finnish rock classics like Hurriganes, Juice, Ismo Alanko, Eppu Normaali, Leevi & the leavings etc. Basically any type of music goes expect most rap is something I can't understand.

I found out about Ellegarden from one of my better ex's. So you can imagine the nostalgia for me there. Even now, years later it is the one thing we can still totally agree on.BLazerules wrote: For some reason ELLEGARDEN songs have this weirdish nostalgic feeling when I listen to it.
They have an interesting sound. An ex after the ellegarden one introduced me to one song of theirs and the current girl bought me the whole discography. I can see a pattern developing here.BLazerules wrote: Hmm listened to a song by Radwimps the song seems great. Defiantly something I would listen to thanks for telling me about them ^_^

My mate was crazy about that series. I think I actually watched the whole thing as well. Pretty rare considering how much I dislike anime. I do forget the music though, although I remember it might have been good.TornadoTitan wrote:Personally I listen to the Samurai Champloo OST, Fits the feel of the world for me haha, plus its just fantastic listening

I was going to post saying "Carly Ray Jepsen and Gotye one after the other on repeat. But I feel like you've made that joke already with different names so I'll just tell the truth instead.benpowell987 wrote:Uhm:

I listen to a playlist made mostly out of Sengoku Basara's OST and sometimes I listen to Jap punk band Bomb Factory, because they are boss.

I like any sort of music that sounds good to me, but I only ever seek out electronic music. Except for dubstep.
I always find the most fitting music for my mood in electronic music. I love music.
