I read 'Mensa' and my mental auto-correct turned it in to 'menses'.

I am curious if any Kenshi forumites have ever qualified for the Mensa group?
I've never looked into joining. I'm fairly anti-social, so I can't see any benefit for me. To the degree I do interact with people - I find flaunting my intelligence will usually alienate them - so I try to avoid it. Thus whatever limited bragging rights that a membership might offer are also of no benefit to me.
Now if I talked regularly with too many people of relatively higher intelligence, it might artificially instill an unjustified faith in humanity. Limiting myself to mostly average people keeps my expectations grounded in reality. Reality is a bit depressing, but at I'd rather maintain an accurate view.

I used to put meself above "average commoners" like you, but then i took a reality in the knee

To the degree that i could probably be a president of the "Kids who fancy themselves smarter" society. Can we found one?

Don't know if I'm the first one (too lazy to read all replies) but yes, I'm a member of Mensa Sweden.
Never been to any event or anything though, just paying membership fees and collecting the newsletter.
