When i first started reading posts I thought the post date was over there -----> and some people would have posted from 2011 which was impossible for some forms thinking kenshi's forums had screwed up dates little did I know that was the joining date of the person and the postage date was above in the post I feel so stupid every time I remember this and would like to ask am I the only one?
Nope. The mistake I do make often is looking on the list of threads and the date it was created is next to the title while the date of the last post is far to the right.
I've solved this by commenting on pretty much every single thread now and just looking to see if my name is the last post or not.

I would never do something like that
Happened to me once, must've been sober that day. (probably)demonslay999 said: I feel so stupid every time I remember this and would like to ask am I the only one?

I was actually surprised the other day when I came in and saw no colours on the main page at all. No green, light blue or dark blue. Rare times indeed. Considering the fact I do all my uni work from the computer I tend to check these forums every time I get bored of an assignment (like 5 times a day in peak season).toaster Assassin wrote:

New job has no "public" Wifi. (Or something similar). So no graveyard shift browsing for me.

You could buy a dongle* I guess.
*A portable usb or other type of wireless internet. But you'll have to pay for your own which sucks.

If I buy one then I would worry about strangers piggybacking on my dongle. Plus I don't want to pay monthly and have my dongle be weak and not be able to last for extended periods of time.
Plus I am cheap.

Oh, the horrible dongle innuendo I wrote before deciding that the forum is probably not the right place to unload all that....especially in response to a moderator.
But, I get your point about being cheap. Guess you need to find another way to pass the time at work....besides working of course.

Talking about one's dongle is ok, as long as you know when to draw the line. My two concerns were the piggybacking and overall cost / quality. (Plus 50USD a month is rather steep fee) As well, I don't really know if companies produce dongles for phones (Unless it is already built in (i.e. mobile hotspot)). All in all, not worth the hassle of going through an AT&T contract just so I can read the news during my break. (and I am cheap).Blxz said: Oh, the horrible dongle innuendo I wrote before deciding that the forum is probably not the right place to unload all that....especially in response to a moderator.
