Ever since I had left the forum many new members have joined (plus many have posted new threads to say "Hi") so to try and help the forum to minimize thread clutter I have resurrected this old thread. (Maybe this topic should be located under General/Announcements(or somthing like a frequent thread area to prevent the most frequented type of threads from being lost), because I had noticed ALOT of "greetings" topics under this forum's topic index)
So to start....hello welcome to hel-Kenshi forum, place your greetings here.

No problem, this thread was kind of buried anyways

Hi all,
I've discovered Kenshi by luck, browsing the GamersGate catalog.
I went immediately to the LoFi website and forums, and bought the game without a second thought, without even trying the demo.
Of course, I bought it directly from LoFi. Even if I think that GamersGate is a good way to attract curious gamers like myself, we wouldn't want Chris to give away a share of his money, would we ?
This will make the Vets smile :
After downloading and installing Kenshi (and after a bitter fight with the PhysX thingy), off I go, roaming this beautiful desert.
My obsession : getting recruited by the army, to acquire equipment and experience.
I run, run, from city to city, alone, carefully avoiding bandit patrols and looting the dead.
At least four hours later, after starting a second "tour" of all the cities, I finally thought :
"Where is this %#?@ recruiter ?.. Oh wait... Maybe it's not implemented yet... Let's check the forums !".
Moments later, I went back to the game, happy. These few wandering hours allowed me to get quite good equipment and a decent amount of money. Off I went again, satisfied, assembling my team.
It's already a great game, Chris. Thanks and congratulations !

Hi everyone,
Tried the demo sunday for a few hours, loved it.
Obviously I love the potential and Chris' ideas more than the game itself.
Wanted to get more of the game so bought it yesterday.
Glad I did.
This reminds me of when I bought beta Mount and Blades which I never regretted.

Hello everyone,
I tried the game a few days ago and it's awesome
I don't find a lot of games with some of the features this has. Keep up the good work!
