I tried to play the free Alpha. Download worked fine but when I try to launch the game comes popup:
ERROR

No opencl platforms found, the game can not run without opencl support.
Any help? Did you try it? Did it work?

I know I could get help from their site but I don't want to make account there before I have tested the game

I saw this on RPS a while back. The video had me at the part of the girl running with the suitcase labled 'file'. Indeed!

I love it. Like scotterius they had me at the lollypop and the 'file' weapon thingy. The ability to build stuff shown at the end was just the icing. I'll check it out. Too bad the co-op is buggy right now. We could get a kenshi forum team going in the future. =)

Sure, why not?

It could turn out to be fun. The problem is, I can't get it working. I even registered to Pathea forums and asked for help but no one answers. :| I guess they don't have as lively forums ass Kenshi.

Yes, but...
OpenCL™ (Open Computing Language) is a low-level API for heterogeneous computing that runs on CUDA-powered GPUs. Using the OpenCL API, developers can launch compute kernels written using a limited subset of the C programming language on a GPU.

OpenCL support is included in the latest NVIDIA GPU drivers
...These things say nothing to me. Also it doesn't look like anything that I just need to download or install.

[EDIT]
PS. THE F*CK IS WRONG MY POSTS !?!?!?!?!?

Ok, I've done some digging. it is possible to launch the game without a opencl capable gpu. But the game is very laggy even on minimum settings. NVIDIA cards should be fully supported but AMD cards (like my own) are not as well supported. but many of them can handle it with the very latest drivers. it took me a while but eventually I figured out that my card was one of the capable ones Mobility Radeon HD 5850. There are quite a few supported ones, most of the newer ones I think.

On the AMD website try and get the latest Catalyst thingy. That should get your drivers in top form. Trying to auto update them via the control panel didn't work for me. But, long story short; it now runs like a charm for me. Not that it is very easy or balanced yet. And the camera control scheme is a major shitfight. Same with trying to harvest something....and attack something. And walk somewhere. And pretty much everything so far. (the joys of alpha 0.3)

Don't worry about it. We can see other peoples posts just fine. It was just that when I make new posts, (damn , how do I say this in English :? ) It appears to me like pillar shaped. "More high than wide." Apparently, it happens to other people too. However, to other people it appears normaly.

(Sry my English, I would have problems to say this in mother tongue as well  )
