Top URL is about a robot controlled by brain activity and the second one is about robots working as a team to catch a ball.

If there is output in mah brain, so I can make robot do what I want, there must be input in mah brain so robot can make me do what robot wants. :?

I'm just waiting they combine the mind reading bot with cooperative bots and add better AI. Better be prepaired... I'm going to study robotics. To be usefull for the new enslavers...

So I might survive just long enough to create Electromagnetic pulse that covers whole planet.

This is good stuff. That teamwork thing is incredible. The possible applications for this technology are so varied. I think with enough work it could even be applied to larger balls. I might be getting ahead of myself here, but possibly even non ball-shaped objects.

On a slightly more serious note, the idea of teamwork is very useful. I love how they have done it. And the ability to analyse the throwing arc and improve with time is fantastic. Think of the military applications in artillery shelling. Then you have things like firehose operators that can target specific parts of buildigs with highly accurate jets of water. Not to mention catching things that drop like the obvious one of people. But other things like on certain construction sites with tools and even for something like mountain climbing. Imagine if you could get the technology to such a level that it can carry in your pack. if you fall it shoots out a thingy that can then catch you and support your weight?

Who knows what other people could dream up.

I had seen some random document somewhere about swarm-bots. Pretty interesting I'd say. Couldn't find the actual film but I still managed to find the tiny cuties :D

They are cool but they won't take over the world, so it's a plus.

AI is kinda limited. Scientists were able to put rat brain cells on a computer chip and the cells were able to interact with the sensors. However, unless there is cell regeneration, the cells would eventually die out.

So many useful applications indeed, but they must be used ethically.
