The Kickstarter campaign for Hex has launched, and the game is looking fantastic. While the game is almost certainly going to get its funding, given that two days after launch they have acquired over one third of their goal, every additional pledge will help secure that modest sum required to get this game off the ground. With over 350 cards in the starting set (plus who knows what stretch goals may offer up), the game offers an interesting take on the TCG genre. With a Hero and your deck you will acquire a variety of ways to improve your play style, in PVE and PVP. There will be full fledged guild offerings, dungeons, and raids for your guild mates to participate in on the PVE side of things. The PVP will offer 8 player drafts, dozens of daily tournaments and they would like to have the ability to offer real cash prizes (I imagine lawyers will have to look into that).

The game is being created by Cryptozoic, perhaps best known as the developer of the WoW TCG, along with a number of other games based off of licensed properties. If you're at all amused by the CCG registered trademark of Wizards of the Coast[ games I suggest you look into Hex. It certainly has potential, and with every Kickstarter pledge tier offering Beta access, it won't be long before you can get your hands on it if you contribute.

So go ahead and check out their Kickstarter page if you're interested.

Dear god my brain is about to explode from so much innovation and awesomeness.

It's not really that innovative imo. Mobage for instance maintains a few of those games for android.

But it certainly looks well polished and the dev team is well known. I'll probably end up following this game anyway since i like to play mtg but i'll only pledge if they need the money (for funding or for a specific stretch goal).

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Need help? pm me or any other mod.
