Now I don't know if you'll ever see this or if you would appreciate the comparison but I want to make it. I've been recently reading this fan translated manga called Bakuman (don't know if there is an official version in the making) and it started to remind me of the tireless and endless job it is to program something yourself and how most people don't seem to appreciate the work that goes into it. You see the manga is about the creation of the work that goes into creating weakly manga and getting not only getting it out on time but also getting people to enjoy it so its something their willing to support and I just thought about games like yours while reading it so I thought I would share it. I put this in the off topic section hoping I'm not breaking and forum rules. Thank you for taking the time to read this if you have and have a good day.

Fear not, it is very difficult for any topic to be unacceptable for the kenshi off-topic forums. Anything legal is a good fit for here, even better if it involves pastry goodness.

I thought pastry goodness fit anywhere.

And i guess at least one f itmost different parts would be simply the fix deadline, Chris is free to work how he wants when it comes to time, he has no deadline to fullfill, unless he presents one to stick by.

I guess what really reminds me of game creation is the idea of putting yourself out there ... doing something you don't get payed for at the start and hopping people appreciate the work you put into it. Creating a hit game takes a lot of effort and luck and the same goes for almost anything in the independent entertainment industry. From Manga to YouTube videos to game creation if you plan on making it without playing by other peoples rules then you need both luck and skill. I just wanted to say I appreciate the effort that it takes to start something like Kenshi.

Man Bakuman was so awesome I was watching the anime and then couldn't wait for the subs so just went through the manga waiting but yeah I get what you mean they put all their effort into their work and try their hardest to make everyone love their work and that's what I think Chris does with this game, they also came up with unique ideas which was another awesome thing too, and again Chris has a very unique game setting and he makes it happen.

I kinda wanted to watch Bakuman all over again, I feel like theres nothing that really compares to it these days.
Weapon Concepts
So far I'm working on Buster Sword, Auron's Masamune, Bows, Mace, Dark Knight Halbred, Zangetsu, Guts' Dragon Slayer, Zweihander, Baselard, Daedric Two handed axe, and more to follow.
