Hey Kenshi people whatsup?
I`ve been playing this game for quite a while now and i really like the whole sandended, openbox X4-esque thing going on. I`m curious however, to see how the team is working. Do they hold weekly meetings to report on their general progress? Do they use any project management softies like Trello or Asana? Do they have any people assigned to duties like human resources or project quality ensurance? How many of the guys in the team are circumcised?
Indie companies usually really creative, fun and have a lot of freedom. But sometimes they forget that project management and all that boring crap is really important too. Just look at what happened to Starforge.
Yo devs, if you ever need to improve those workflows, check out business models of junior enterprises. They are really great for small teams. I`m not saying you guys are poopy, I`m just saying a tight business model feels even better when you insert a big hard throbbing optimization in it.

Jokes aside, that was a legitimate question. I`m curious if they have any sort of process to go through things, or if they have people with special assignments like HR, PR and QA. Who knows, the guys at Lo-Fi Games might have the perfect business model for a small indie game developer. I knew this one indie dev who laid their process bare naked for everyone to see, so that other indie companies could use their model as a base or try to optimize theirs with it, and not only game devs, but small businesses and freelancers and stuff.
As far as I know, Koomatzu is Chris' Master of Coin and publishes most of the news. Also doing some technical support (payment and stuff). I'm sure Chris knows what he is doing in general but unfortunately I don't have any more information about this.

Sorry I don't work on the actual development so I'm not sure what kind of project management they use, although something like Trello would be a really good idea to keep everybody else involved in the process.
We got Sam, Olly, Chris, Otto and Maykol all working on the game (Chris would be team leader I guess). Then I basically handle all the other stuff - bug testing, admin, PR, HR, da monies, Chris-nagging...
