I'd thought I would start a thread for all of us who have been following Kenshi for a while.

Back in my day, buildings were for the NPCs, crafting was for miners, and animals were somthing you watched on the teli.

While I resent being referred to as a duffer I'm giving the thumbs up for special, entirely biased, treatment.

Things have changed quite a bit. I struggle to recognise kenshi now that the numbers got so high. I don't even know what the current version is anymore.

There are precious few of us good ones left behind. I can empathise with the WW2 vets now.

That said, this club is terrible and you should feel terrible. Get off my sand.

Yup, was gone for quite some time, but I still keep my eye on o'l Kenshi. ( Because if one of you ever breaks free from this forum, who knows what internet chaos would unfold!? :P )

Will try to be more active on forum, however I have quite a bit of things going on.

Sidenote: Appearently, some of the companies of Guild II are teaming up to try and patch the game (Nordic games and Runde forge) Also, I found out there may be a Guild III.

Finally a thread where old man can lay down and have a rest after carrying those bags of presents year after year.

I believe I bought and first played Kenshi before foliage got added in, so that would make me a fairly early adopter. It was pretty featureless in those days but still fun. And if you think the pathing has problems now... you don't know anything.

/give me back my medic armor
/not really

He he, why I remember a time when whole towns would just up and leave the planet overnight. I remember a time when walls were unheard of, and women too! It was nothing but men coming and going any which way they pleased back in those days. Back then, everyone wore diff'rent colors to let 'em know who was coming at 'em too! Nowadays it's all dark greys, browns, and blacks, and you got to use the magic cursor in the sky to figure out who anyone is.

I first started following Kenshi when it first made an appearance on greenlight, before it actually got approved. I think it was version .33 or something. Not as old as a lot of you fellas, but I've certainly spent some time following Kenshi.
