I've been a fan of Diablo, Inquisitor, Mount & Blade, ArmA II and a plethora of other different games. I played the demo of this game quite a while back and was impressed. After checking out all the updates on the homepage yesterday, I decided to go ahead and make the purchase to help out. I wasn't disappointed at all. For a game still in development, it has it's bugs, but the gameplay and concept is bitchin'.

However, it would be nice to throw in a bit of grunge for some of the cities and dirty them up a bit with trashy people. I remember playing inquisitor a while back (great old txt heavy game btw). That game had all kinds of great surprises that added intrigue. Now, I'm not saying to make it R-rated content or anything. It could be good ol' PG-13 prostitute that might give you a temporary health/skill boost and temporarily make you tired/fatigued or something. Or, it could be full on R-rated, giv'r a gumm'r and giv'r, backwoods-shinanigan-ary that gets blurred out slightly or something ridiculous/funny. They could also come in all shapes and sizes.

It might be too much too ask, but it would add an element of taboo to the game. Also, it would certainly make it more interesting and fun when you are in town. Maybe throw in a town drunk that wanders the street cursing profanities and trying to start fights with everyone.

Anyhow, forgive me if the idea had already been presented. I did do a few searches for this, but did not come up with any hits.

That is something like I would think as part of the moral system. Your army has low moral if there are lots of fighting and long distance marches. But when the army reaches city, it likes to gamble and drink gallons of rum and ale and go see strippers and hookers and all that would increase morale.

Also it might include gladiator/circus fights that was talked on some thread...

On a more serious note, I feel that this could be a good idea if done properly.
Less fable 3, more serious.

Then again, how could it be implemented? They go inside for a while while the fun times are being had?

There are beds in Kenshi :D  and we can see inside every building. Maybe blurring is only option if we don't want another interactive 3D porn game.

Hahaha "Achievement"

Well, as far as implementation goes, it could be something like the sims in a way. You don't see the action taking place, but your imagination fills in the gaps. I didn't want to get too complicated with this as I'm sure the dev has quite a bit already with the bugs/gameplay issues that are already present. Just thought it would be worth mentioning since little details such as this are what create buzz and more interest in a game. For those already playing, it just adds more imaginative depth to a game already on a great path.

This would be a humorous addition, but... female models don't exist yet. I particularly like the drunk that babbles profanities. That would be fun. Then when they pick a fight with you, you beat them with just your fists instead of lopping their head off. Sounds fun and not too far fetched.

I agree with Santaisick: having a guy suddently hate us or preach to us after that wold really affect the opinion of people, but if you mentioned the other people that did it too, it wold have very little effect. Also, prostitutes wold be anoter one of the extremely many aditions of the game to make it more interesting. Also to make your character and army more happy (it's impossible to increase health with that, only medicine can do it that wold be ridiculous -.-) and in a better mood to fight, thus increasing it's efficiency.

I just want to let you know that there is a difference in English between Moral and Morale. The first one is like goodness. A moral person might not keep slaves and might donate to charity while an immoral person probably steals or does other bad stuff like swears at poor little kiddies.

Morale is what people and armies have. Low Morale means they might run away or give up easily, etc.

I only tell you this because there are some instances, like the part in your quote where I underlined it, where either one could fit depending on what you mean to say. But the second time you mention it in your quote can ONLY be MORALE. The meanings are very different.

Ah, sorry, my bad. I was wondering why I was so misunderstood on there  Thanks for the correction and I am deeply sorry for all the bad mood I made with my bad English. Sorry. I really suck in English and I hate it when everyone is better than me in it. There are many times when I add "sry for ma English" but the one time I decide not to, I make horrible mistake like that and no one has any idea what I'm talking about. Sorry for that

PS. Sorry for all bad English and mistakes I made on this post as well... And every post to come...

Nah man, it's cool. I love language so I have a bit of a fetish with it. (figuratively speaking)
Its just that those words are so similar looking and can actually be used together sometimes. Anyway, english is your second language. You do a damn fine job of it 99% of the time. I'd love to see a bunch of people trying to speak Suomi in these forums, there would be massive fail and google translating.

Thanks for the compliments, :D but I think not. I believe my English is still pretty simple, I'm not using many hard words and I have no idea about sentence structures and I use google translate (like with the sentence structure, hope I got it right.) Every time I see the "red line" telling me I don't know how to spell something right I check it from google or some other place.

Female models don't exist yet, but they are in the works. I hope they also implement an age scaling system along with the new model/skin additions so that I can create my "Old Man Chub" character. He would be a 4ft hunched old man, 10ft long beard and nails, a gut the size of a large baby and some wicked gas.

In addition to the prostitutes, it might be easy to work them in by creating a *cough* special house that houses them in it. That way, they are assigned to it like shopkeepers, have all the dialog associated with it, have their own rooms/beds and diseases. Good times.

:)

As Santaissick showed, it is a complicated language. In English we would call it Finnish. Since he is from Finland, Finnish is a difficult language and also that a fairly small percentage of English native speakers learn a foreign language I figured I could combine all those into a single language choice.

I think the main issue is that it is a fairly independant language. Many Asiatic languages are similar in parts, then there are many of the european languages, etc. They all share similar roots and entomology. but finnish, I believe, is a 'unique' language in that it hasn't been unduly influenced in its structure by outside languages. (of course more modern words such as the car example obviously have since we can understand that 'Auto' possibly refers to an automobile).

Auto's german for car
btw that grammar looks a lot like the german grammar, with all cases like nominativ accusativ and so on.
Real pain in the @ss to learn lol.
Also German adds a third gender (besides masculine and feminine): neuter. That adds some more difficulty lol

You should always proofread carefully to make sure you didn't any words out.

Need help? pm me or any other mod.
