Its just one of my pet peeves, I am trying to build on somewhat of a mountain/bluff but its slanted. It takes forever and a day for my building not to be the leaning outpost of the desert. All I would like to request is a feature or an axis for leveling with the horizon, or even have all the buildings be flush anyways.
I could understand farms and the lot being able to be one a touch of a slant but a building?
Structures are not Level/Flush.
I realize this is an old thread, but as far as I know, it's the most recent one regarding this feature.
I must second this. It just makes no sense to allow horizontal rotation for buildings (notice I'm talking about buildings) be it from a structural integrity perspective, or usefulness in general. You wouldn't build a leaning house, it could collapse, your stuff would slide down to the lower side of the floor followed by furniture in some cases. Living in such a house would be anything but comfortable. There is simply no reason to build this way as it only brings disadvantages and risks.
As Ishaye said, some structures are understandable. You don't need to place a farm on flat land, same goes for a generator, stone processor, training dummy, prisoner cage etc.
Don't get me wrong, I don't say it shouldn't be allowed, I'm sure there are people who love it, but it should not be forced. There is no way to turn it of. I don't understand why towns are built as they should while we can't do the same.
I think it's more of an issue than a feature, but the thread is here, no need to make another one. If someone could give me some insight into this it would be most welcome.
edit:// Correction, town buildings are leaning too, don't know where did I get the impression they are not.

its the limits of the terrain engine.
and for now until they come up with a way around it, there is no current way to make buildings level.
