Holy Empire with "Middle-East weapons and armor"

Kenshi's main setting is based mostly on Asian style, right? Well, Holy Empire is practically wearing plate armor. I presume in the far east, they don't have those kinds of armor. Just only armor mostly in Lamellar armour or any other plates tied together with leather or stuff.

So, what I think is that Holy Empire's style should be middle-east, because their guys are wearing plates armor. Their weapons should be all medieval too. Longswords, shortswords (one-hand?), claymores, etc. anything medieval weaponry and armor. So yeah.

I thought they were meant to be like the holy roman empire rather than middle easten.

Um there is plate armed in the Far East rare but not nonexistent and the middle Easters mostly wore chain mail plus game has no definite setting
