Now there my friend is a suggestion!Zeal wrote:snip
I'm facing the opposite issue.. It's like my entire team is a mindhive connected through some psychological link or something... Sometimes it feels like wherever I am on the map, if some bandit or something so much as looks at one of my units funny, my entire civilization comes rushing to dismember them, but the danger will have been LONG gone by the time they'd actually get there..

Of course it would make sense with the hive men race to share somewhat of a collective conscience, maybe they would communicate telepathically somehow through electronic or radioactive pulses.
Now the real question would be how could the devs include that to where it felt like a feature and maybe even a strength as opposed to a nuisance? Hopefully after those distances are ironed out shared perception won't be as much of a negative. Maybe aside from that shared perception the hive men would fight far better in higher numbers, gaining block and attack ability reflecting that they are sharing the observations of all of the hive men in the fight.
Perhaps the queen/king character would be the only member who would have a basic ability to fight by them selves, and when fighting with their hive people the hive would have nice bonuses but when hive men are out on patrol without the leader, they would lack those bonuses.
Thoughts gentle(ladies)men?
