I'm not usually one that goes for visual effects over game play.
I would much rather have more playable options then pretty graphics.
So suggesting a visual effect is really outside my bailiwick.

But I was thinking that when the bodies of the dead have been out on the field for long enough they just vanish. I was thinking that instead of just vanishing It would be cool if a flock of black birds swarmed down and covered the bodies then when they flew away the body would be gone.

It would give a neat creepy post apocalyptic feeling.

Bump. This idea is epic. Or, maybe have the dogs eat them? Aw, that would be so cool. When they knock you unconcious they just wait, snarling, until you die. Then you select a dog and their action reads, "Feasting on corpses"

I'd love to see some fairly large, scary Scavenger bird things fly around and slowly creep in to start eating you, dead or not(unconscious). Big enough to pose a threat in large numbers when you're trying to save someone from being eaten.
