Ideas on how to implement cyborgs.

So, robots are exceedingly awesome, what with their 200 hit point limbs and their repair kits. I was thinking perhaps a piece of equipment. A surgical bench of some kind where we could replace our extremities (and perhaps mad scientist style our torsos and heads) with robot bits and pieces.

Given, that would mean that those parts couldn't be bandaged and would require repair kits. But that's completely worth it.

Man, a berserker with a robot arm. One handed swinging a fragaxe. A true wastelander.

that aside i believe that the ability to have a robotic arm, or leg is a planned feature in the future..

but head? you do know..as soon as the brain stem is cut..your pretty much dead right? given how 'dirty' the world of Kenshi currently appears to be...even having arms an legs attached..would...probably highly hazardous due to the probabiility of catching diseases and infections.

you can replace alot of limbs with the knowledge how to blend man and machine , getting the brain to recognize the limb an the limb to understand signals from the brain..but would require an a huge amount of knowledge and specialized equipment..which i would imagine is extremely rare in the world of Kenshi.

while it might be cool..theres a point where replacing limbs goes from being a cyborg to being an android.

Personally i think losing a limb an replacing it with a robotic part should be both extremely expensive and extremely risky. other wise people will just chop off limbs willy nilly.

It's a sandbox. There's no real balance. Although I agree it would have to be end tier and it already comes with serious drawbacks

Repair kits and augments are difficult to come by. It's why skeletons are more powerful, but not necessarily OP until repair kits become commonplace.

Also, yes, as a medical professional I'm aware that you would not survive a head transplant.

Without getting into a discussion over it, to me, in my opinion, if the thoughts, experiences, and emotions of Organic Me and Machine Me are identical, in game terms, they are interchangeable.

Big fan of the idea of the singularity.

One of the issues in game is that machines use oil and people use blood. I'm proposing a blended bar filled with both oil and blood based on how many limbs have been converted to robolimbs.

Man, it would be so cool to be able to upgrade those limbs via a workbench. Hyperdrive super arm. Which of course would take a redonkulous amount of time and effort. Millions of cats. For us grinders out there.
