crafting backpack

I'm wondering why there is no way to craft any backpack is it a design decision or something to come a a later date

could be design choice.
gotta make you go out and buy the good stuff after all.

Thats probably the case but maybe a late tier 4 blueprint could be added in the clothe crafting

im sure it could be
but some things in game are exclusive to the NPC for a reason, this is mostly to prevent the player from turtling in one spot. which in a way kinda sucks because the Game doesn't handle two or more base locations well yet.

your idea is great but i truly hope its not added.

I see your point an agree with turtling would ruin the experience quite bit but between the artifact system for the late game and selling your wares and looking for blueprint and material gathering crop to start farm leather i think there already a lot of reasons but may be you re right and it's needed for very early game

about having more than one base it would be great but i think personnaly i would need to hire more than 30 people to do it correctly and im not the game could really handle it i have a good machine and my people bug enough i think adding more would be hard on the engine unless there's an overhaul of the IA which would also be great but i don't think it's possible this late in the development

that's mostly because optimization is far from complete with the new Engine. hopefully we will see vast improvements once the last piece's of the Map is added.
