Reconstruction/resettlement of abandoned buildings

It would be really awesome if you could reconstruct buildings so that people either neutrals or faction based could move in and set up housing/stores over the progression of time. Or if you are allied/part of a faction if you could rebuild buildings that are owned by certain factions. For instance, the Hub is mostly destroyed and is claimed by the Ninja thieves, while you can buy the buildings and rebuild them for your faction it would be could if i could make the hub a ninja thief thriving community or take out the local ninja thieves and claim it for another faction. i would love to have a turf war with the holy nation that just sounds awesome!

depending on your game, we can gather a huge amount of resources (= powerfull feeling), but still be unable to change the state of the world around you, making you feel powerless.

Agreed, I thought this would be an inherent part of the game, to the point that the player might have to contend with other NPCs buying buildings. I suppose, though, that the inclusion of a real-estate function might lean toward the game needing an economy (supply and demand of most things), so it might be something the developers don't want to touch.

I'm for it! Buy some wrecked house - rebuild it - sell it back (for more!) - and it turns into a bar or something.

the ability to take over towns was planed but moved to luxury features. it "might" come in the form of a free DLC after full release.

Welp, since we just got town overwrites working (thanks to Shidan's constant nagging probably ) that may not be that far off anymore (unless i misunderstood what the "overwrites" system actually does.
