I already posted many of these in the Steam description list ( and recommended the game! Bought it two days ago and i've already sunk 24 hours into it. ) but I wanted to repeat them and make sure the Devs could see my requests, as I DO believe they will make the game better.
1. Raise ( or remove ) the unit cap of 30
I was honestly disappointed to learn that there was a unit cap as I traveled south into the Swamps to recruit more men for my post. I've spent my time building a city in the Badlands and was gearing up to do as the game suggested and become a Warlord when the Unit cap smacked me in the face. For such a massive game with so many locations and enemies, a unit cap of 30 is truly too small.
2. Make people actually come to your outpost.
I've had my outpost built and open to the public for 20-30 in-game days now, and it saddens me that despite what it says, no-one will show up. I expected for people to start moving in once I built my own little Bar and had buildings full of Shop counters and supplies, but the only people to ever visit your outpost is caravans and raiders.
3. Come to me, my pretties!
Despite what the game says i've got shop counters full of copper plates, raw iron, building materials, food, and weapons all in public houses but no-one ever comes to buy things from me. I also can't assign anyone to the counters. Could this be fixed or added, please?
4. Grant the ability to take over cities.
I've bought and repaired nearly every building in The Base at the Badlands, yet it's not really mine. I'd love the ability to buy out cities by purchasing the owned buildings - such as the bar - which would bring the Guards onto your side, sort of like a permanent Mercenary company, or to slaughter the city's guard and take it over, forcing the citizens to accept you as the new town guard.
5. Mounts!
I love that the map is so massive with so many areas to travel to, explore, raid, scavenge, and more. However, not all of the characters in my faction are as speedy as my main character - a wonderful little warlord by the name of Kraxus, who's butchered the Dust King and is decked out in Ninja gear with the godly Nodachi - and it's a chore to really get large groups of people places. Considering the Pack Garru already has a saddle on it, could we get new animals to ride or the ability to ride Pack Garru? Not only would it save us a lot of trouble, but the ability to ride down people on the back of six or so Garru with Polearms and toothpicks is just badass.
6. Make land Fertile ( reduce Arid? )
I was a little surprised I could not grow Greenfruit in the Badlands. There's green land in one spot and trees all around, even a river, but I can't really grow Greenfruit because it's so arid. Could you implement an ability for the land near the river to be less arid - or give us the ability to water the ground or develop a machine with an AI core or Engineering or Ancient Science books or something to improve the land and let us farm? Thanks~!
7. ENSLAVEMENT!
Upon learning I could build cages I promptly built 25 in a 5 by 5 square and chucked the battered bodies of those GOD DAMN DUST BANDITS that kept raiding my city in there, healed them up, and waited for the next band of Slavemongers to roll by. However, to my unpleasant surprise, I could not actually sell them to the slavemongers or, in fact, enslave them myself and put the useless bastards to work. Considering slavery is already a massive mechanic in the game, it'd be great if we - the player character - could do some of that enslaving.
Well, that's all for now! I'll update this list or make another one as I find more things i'd like added or find more bugs. With best regards,
~Gar'dal

1. Unit cap is for game performance reasons. if you want higher, use a Mod. or make one yourself, its rather simple.
2. Citizens moving in is indeed in game, but not working.
3. Only trade goods only can be sold, and the trader AI is currently bugged. has been for a bit now.
4. This is currently a luxury feature and if it gets added, will be after the game is finished, but even so thats no guarantee it will be added even so. but it is part of teh Devs idea for the game.
5. Mounts are also a luxury feature, same thing applies as to the last answer.
6. Hydroponics. its in game.
7. Enslavement is not currently planed to be added for the player.

Thanks! Was completely unaware of Hydroponics, had no idea it existed. And for the unit cap, could you possibly recommend a mod? I have no idea how to make it myself and i'm scared of fucking up my game by trying to edit it.Hatsune_Neko wrote: ↑Sat Jul 07, 2018 5:00 pm1. hydroponics is a late game research item requiring AI cores.
and if you make a mod and it messes up your game.
all you have to do is disable it, then it shouldn't affect yuor game any more.

I like the cut of your jib. Completely agree that everything except enslavement (old horse, dead many times from beatings, search this forum if you got time) should go into the game or be fixed

Yeah, i've been here for literally 1 month i think and i already know how dead that horse is by now. It's best to bury it now, not even worth to harvest for resources anymore lol. (i guess i've played to much Kenshi lol)Sol Lignum wrote: ↑Sat Jul 07, 2018 10:34 pmI like the cut of your jib. Though it would be interesting if we would ever be able to irrigate the land or fertilize it with something (might make those "outhouses" finally usefull for once lel). I know we have hydrophonics but that just doesn't really scratch that itch for me.
...and so my legacy continues...

Oh, that would be interesting. "Project Eden Resurrection" type of thing, make everything green again.TerrorofKenshi wrote: ↑Sun Jul 08, 2018 7:08 pm(...)Though it would be interesting if we would ever be able to irrigate the land or fertilize it with something (might make those "outhouses" finally usefull for once lel). Gar'Dal gave a good example of frustrating situation though, visual environment doesn't always match the actual fertility. And while it 'could' be explained somehow, it still looks more like and oversight, so it's a legit point-out.

Yeah, i agree. Btw i don't know if you last visited the fog lands but there is an amazingly HUGE plateau That really has a ton of minerals ( that might just be because i installed a mod made by Shidan on steam that reverted the current resource distribution to the older one which causes to have a lot more nodes than now. So maybe in the current vanilla versionthere just is nothing there right now) AND has green 70%! An excellent spot for a base if you don't mind the hordes of mindless fog landers. The location is N-W of Mongrel, you can't miss it.Sol Lignum wrote: ↑Mon Jul 09, 2018 1:49 pmOh, that would be interesting.
