Lo-Fi Games

Ok so I know that there have been threads on this topic here and in steam but they are all from 2015 so I figured I'd revive the topic and see if a dev can respond. Is taming animals in the future? Will the player be able to have pack animals like the traders? Will you be able to raise the animals from birth? Mounts? If any of this is planned is there a guesstimated timeline for it? Could it be possible to do an Ark style of taming where while the animal is KO'd or left with a certain amount of health they can be tamed? Or when they are KO'd the simple act of performing first aid will bring them to you. I can envision MOUNTED CROSSBOWMEN!!!

taming is listed as a luxury feature so that means if it does get into the game, it will be around near game release or after.

Mounts might make it into the game. maybe.

I can see it being a luxury. If it does make it in I wonder what the possibility of dog cages would be. You construct a cage and then put "bait" in it. Dog comes by and you close the gate. Now multiply that one instance by the average 6-7 member pack. In comes a band of raiders, safe your people up, open cages. Rinse and repeat. Only downside would be dogs attack anyone and enemy camps have the same ability.
