Forteress gate can t be destroyed with a sword, but with a "belier" :

yeah I don't know if siege weapons are coming or not.
But it would be nice to have a sledge hammer as a weapon that would do extra damage to doors and walls and other fixed features.

why not a bomb we have electrical and fuel stuff in-game just a little bit of jerry rigging and you have a bomb

yes, that can do the job too, and more easy to implant i guess.

I can picture Hungry bandits kamikaze now ... running to my gates and blowing up themself in a last attempt to get inside my camp. Could be fun !

If bombs are brought in, they should be nitroglycerin. Nice and unstable.
More fun that way. Plus the bomb-carrier is a great target for the turrets!
