No, this isn't a pro-life motto in defense of Break-things, sorry.....I'm refering to all that great coastal area, it's all "dead", some parts are really great to start a base (plenty of space) but it have nothing but water (evident.....).

Please rework it with the basics (a bit of green/arid enviroment, less "dead", some stone and good fertility) to make possible to do a harbour base.......and in a future if boats are implemented I will be able to pillage/conquer some towns in the coastline

P.S: because inland territories are big, but have too much cities/towns so you are not be able to build a simple shack in the good spot......damn you Holy Nation!

I think that's a planned part of the challenge/lore.

There is a reason most of the sentient beings in those area's are either cannibal's, insane, or both.

You can still make a base, you just have to start out as a raider/scavenger from the beginning. I plan to move out to those area's when my team is a bit more trained up, and yes I will do a lot of raiding and scavenging.

The resources in that area, are rare items and technology. I believe they intend to continue expanding that resource.

Keep on exploring, there is very fertile coast land to be had, in slightly less apocalyptic area's.

Well.....I'm not talking about the north coast, I'm not going to touch that place with a 60 ft pole.....mechanical spiders, leviathans.....no thanks I want a base not a ruin
At least for now....

Maybe in a future update we will see a fertile coast with some materials and not like the esterile western coastline

It's actually a bug. The biomes were never assigned a resource yield, so they come back as "dead". I actually fixed it pretty easily with a mod I made for myself, since I decided I wanted to live in one of those biomes. :D

perfect pockets of resources are very rare. I have found some. and my most fertile one is actually along a coast line. (it's missing iron but I get that from the escaped servants that keep coming by.)

I also just found one in the new map area. 100 green with water, stone, iron, copper, 75% fertility and easy access to the ruins for some artifact hunting. Gonna be a little bit of a walk to the shops, but I'm happy to be out of HN territory with my robots.

I know, I don't want to see a perfect spot, world is not so perfect, well.....we all have our own vision of perfection so.....
For me Holy Nation is more an annoying thing more than a problem because they take the best spots and they are everywhere like cockroaches

Oh....so it's a bug, thank you for that information I didn't know it
For example, I saw 3 unmarked houses with for sale near a fisherman town in the west, that unmarked little "town" have a well (75 water but no water around the place), no fertility and a lot of cannibals (camp close) and fogmen.....except the cannibals and fogmen, that is ok, the no water and fertility part is a bug, have sense

I really want to see the next part of the map :D
