*This is just hopes and suggestions. And to bring ideas forth that might give a Modder or Developer inspiration to create something. And I welcome you to pick apart this for your own benefit.*

**!!! I must also say a lot of what I have written is very unreasonable and some (most) very difficult to create and implement thus I have no intention of this to be a suggestion or a request but an Idea(s) that might lead to your own idea and creation. !!!**

1) More interaction with your squad. Such as talking to your squad mate(s) and asking them how they are doing or their aspirations are. Maybe a random or procedural generated personality. Personality traits classed as True Traits and Collected traits. (names are WIP) True Traits would be something they are born with or start with like (Brave, Narcissistic, Sly, Shy, Kind, Scheming, Optimistic, Pessimistic, Loyal.) True Traits would be set and unchangeable while Collected Traits (Name WIP) Would be the same as True traits (kind, loyal, Brave, coward) but they can be changed and reformed like coward into brave or just getting rid of coward. And these Traits would effect their action and interactions with their surroundings and people. Giving them different dialogue based on the traits together, Like Brave and Arrogant combined might be "I'll go first! They seem like trash!" While Brave + Humble might be "I'll go first. I will be your opponent". To make it some what easier would be to fragment dialogue with traits like brave would be "I'll go first" or something and then combining it with the other traits Arrogant "They are trash" or humble/ Honorable "I will be your opponent". That way instead of having to create a new sentence for each Trait combo, Each trait as one or two phrases to combine with another trait.

2) Having Clans, Households and, Families within your faction. And having a system of power. Like making someone the leader (King, Emperor, Matriarch, Patriarch.) Which would make people within your faction want to have more interactions (vie for favor and power) This would also lead to assassination attempts from other factions onto this character than anyone in that faction. I feel this would create an immense (workload) depth to the game that I believe is currently lacking in this direction. BUT I would have to say that currently the game is not heading in that direction and would believe that it's fine now and that these are more my ideals not expectations.

3) Lineage, Age, Successors, Children and Bloodlines? (stemming from the last idea) I believe that having children alone would be amazing and having your faction grow while having to deal with the hardships of pregnancy, childbirth and raising a child in this hard and cruel world would be interesting to say the least. Leading into Age limits or age range of characters. And the Added factor of age limits would be interesting.

4)Retainers, Ministers. Appointing positions to those that have the skills to do it efficiently, Like Minister of Commerce ext.

5) Districts, Territory and Patrols? Allowing the creation of territory or districts inside your land or cities. Making it easier to set up patrols or guard positions.

Thank you for reading and hopefully getting a spark or to of your own.

For number 2, I'd like it if there was an incentive to declare a leader and if that then maybe granted some sort of benefit to the squad to be around them. Like maybe when fighting alongside their leader, other squadmates get penalties diminished for encumbrance or starvation, just because of the morale boost? I don't know, sort of pulled that one out of the air.

Having radius passives. Like maybe if you have a Hive or Shek that the Holy nation won't attack if you haven't attack because like Diplomatic reasons. A Morale System is smart so either an Enemy or Your own troops or people would run away to your closes town or outpost. But I think it would be good to have the diminished penalties because you would have to bring out your leader.

Thank you for the great ideas.

I do think a gameplay alteration or evolution would be welcome as the player leaves the mono character gameplay to a community gameplay. The game allows us to create squads and we MUST give orders to any of our squad members.

Here lies one of the problems. Squads should be used only for military/direct control situations. Community members should have their freewill and act freely. They should be able to own shops, have properties and pay rents or taxes depending on profits. The priorities and job attributions might still be overrided by player decisions. I would add that regular patrols/city defenses should not be considered as Squads neither or it would greatly limit the player ability to control various camps or towns.

Creating AI animated communities might allow the game to access an empire VS empire level.

1- i would love if there were more interactions with squad especially if everyone could have a randomly generated personality, there own 'likes' an dislikes. perhaps the ability to give them 'free will' when your not using them for something. - more like living beings with free will than a Hive mind.

2- I'd definitely love to be able to have my own clan/family. and perhaps branch it out into sub groups that'd be awesome.

3- Yea Dynasties an bloodlines would be cool...except time in Kenshi moves slowly if were to keep to some realism it'd take a rather long time for your Child to be born an grow , and become a viable person to play as o.o or something. but the more time you invest into something the more you'll care about it, so i don't find that bad.

4-5 being able to give people responsibilities an flag stuff as your territory an manage it would be nice.

to claim territory an mark it as yours we could be given the ability to make a Territorial flag or something an you'd have to put a series of those down to lay out markers for your territory. the AI would have to do the same an if there were over laying lines at some point it could spark diplomatic incidents, such as territorial disputes.

which i think would be cool.

i personally don't mind my squad having multiple purposes but..

I would much rather have NPC squad members that would follow me an work with me ..than having to control 20 other characters.

its just a personal preference.

and them all having their own personalities would be great. building a community an not just a hive collective would be great.

I completely agree with everything that's been said. I believe that this will transform the game from a micromanaged adventure. To something that's alive, But the work that would be involved would be crazy. If we wanted something like this it would probably cost extra money. I wonder how we could ask if this is something that they would want to have in "their" game or just don't have time (money) to work on it. Anyways please leave more input.
