I think it would be nice if an item is laying on the ground or in a shop , or other wise is considered owned it'd be nice if we could order a character to 'inspect' the item to find out its quality/stats/ an other things...so we can look at it without 'stealing it'.


and in the event we accidentally pick things up , or get caught stealing i think it'd be nice if we could ask for forgiveness/mercy from the people who caught us....

It shouldn't always work and should depend on various factors such as....if they've caught you committing the crime before.

Good idea, like: "I didn't meant to steal it, just wanted to take a closer look!"
