Would be useful for areas where water is just a bit too far of a run. Connecting from a well (or multiple wells) straight to the water tank.

I like it. I'd also like to see the ability to pipe water indoors, for hydroponics.

Transport belts and automatic storage...

Even if the well was right next to the water tank, a short pipeline would automate filling up the water tank so it would be useful.

The auto storage system for water is not up to snuff, IMO, so this would actually help with that as well.

Thing is, it is quite an investment in coding and art assets so unlikely to happen at this point.

An upgrade for the wells that increases storage would probably be a more doable suggestion as that would mostly use existing assets.

So what happens when the closest source of water is 50 feet (or more)? There is already a mod on the workshop for "deep wells" and indoor water vapor moisturizing, so those could be put in as well.

I just assign a farmer to do it when they are not working in the fields. Gives the lazy suckers something to do while they watch the grass grow.

But I can see that if you modded another upgrade to wells you could combine the well and storage tanks and have it store up to 100 barrels of water in the well.
