Larger Animal Feeder:
I think this should be able to hold more then just 3 pieces of foul meat, and items in it's storage should be stackable. Similar to regular meat container, or any other food container, really.

Animal Feeding on dead enemies:
Would be nice if dogs could feast on dead enemies, just like wildlife does. I'm not sure if it would be appropriate for bulls, but dogs should definitely be able to do so. Could be a nice alternative to corpse furnace too.

Diverse diet:
I'm not sure about dogs, but I think bulls are omnivorous in Kenshi, so they should be able to eat crops too, imo.

You would need to add fences to keep your own animals out of the crops.

Yeah, you've got a point. Then maybe not crops per se, but harvested product instead, then you could leave some on the fields, or drop some to the animal feeder.

I'm just thinking that it would be hard to upkeep animals in regions with scarce fauna, like the area around the Hub where you're lucky to find a lone dog passing by every other sunday, so veggie diet sounds reasonable, as well as feeding on dead enemies, which are in copious amounts almost everywhere.

After some thought I like the idea of the dogs being able to feed on dead things. A little bit morbid but makes sense.
And yeah bulls should just eat wheat straw.
There would have to be a carnivorous/vegetarian stat on the animals to tell what they would eat.

I guess Kenshi supposed to be morbid at times. After all, "Anything player can do, NPC can too" and NPC predators would certainly eat other creatures, and they won't even be so nice to wait till prey is actually dead, and will feast at the earliest convenience.

Actually, if player animals could also feed on KO'd enemies, that could turn to be a nice way of torturing. Eat - heal - rinse - repeat. Now that would be grim.

As to carni-omni-herbi-vorous, i don't think that'd be necessary, but i can swear i've seen it in animals stats somewhere at some point. I might be delusional though.
