After thinking about the thread for things that need to be flushed out before release, I came to some thoughts about the standard dialogues.
Way back when in 80's in Daggerfell, you could ask anyone about anything and they would be able to answer you. if you were looking for a town they would tell you "It's East of here." Ask someone in another town and they would tell you "it's south of here". Looking for someone special and they would tell you "Never heard of them" or "they don't live here" or "look over that xyz store".
Didn't matter who you asked about what, they gave an answer. lots of times that answer was "I don't know." but still it seemed more real.
That's what I would like to see the base dialogue for NPCs look like in Kenshi. If you have a bounty poster for someone the option would show in the conversation "Have you seen this guy?" and they would respond with "NO" or "I heard a rumor he was in ???" or "cough up a cat and I'll tell you." or "I heard he was just seen NSEW of here." or "He's right behind you!" Or the likes.
You could ask about bounties, cities, shops, people, rumors, items, stories, or ask "who would know about?"
I know it's a big task for late in the game, but I still have not seen a system that was as natural and helpful as that one used way back in the 80's. It would really fit in well for a sand box game like Kenshi.

That would be awesome, althought i'm not sure if the dialogue system is capable of anything quite like it.
Plus, that would add a ton of work to everyone
Not that it's a bad thing, but eh, you just have to stop somewhere and stop polishing your outstanding piece of art already.

It does sound good, but yea. It's to late in game development to be added. Though i think it's possible to mod in most of it.
The directions would have to be set to town populations as the wandering and random spawns would not know where they are.
It would be a ton of work though.

Do you believe the sexes should be equal?
Oh heavens no.
Then Men would become unmanageable

Actually the find person part is easy and it could be modded if they would add the function to tell direction.
It would be a simple call for the location of the asked about person, a quick calculation if they are NSEW of the current location and return the word.
But yes I only mention it so that they can set their sights on something if they are still polishing of somethings.
