Terraforming tools

Hey,
When I built my bases, I really felt the need to terraform the ground, because it is really difficult to place the building and create some problems (unable to enter in the building, the ground get throught the floor of the building, etc). So it would be more flexible and would reduce the problems.
I've checked on the forum and saw some posts talking about terraforming tools, but I didn't really like their approach. I prefer something integrated to the world of Kenshi/ respecting the univers.
The Idea would be basic tools, allowing to:
Due to the limited means in this world, any transformation would be a difficult and expensive undertaking (they don't have mechanical excavator, they use pickaxe). So it would need a lot of time and a lot of workers (like in the Middle Ages)
This job would use the "engineer" stat. the ground would move slowly and progressivly, pushing the most of the user to use it, just to adapt the ground a little bit or to fix a problem.
What do you think about it?
Sincerely,
Red'

The Idea would be basic tools, allowing to:
- flatten the ground
- raise the ground
- lower the ground
