Adding/Removing Starting Characters

I think it would be nice in the character creation to have the option to increase or decrease the number of characters you start with. Next to the current character number select box there could be a 'minus button' on one side to delete current character and a 'plus button' on the other to add another character up to a maximum of 5 for example?
