[Wwise] May we beg you for the Kenshi manifest?

My (extremely flawed) understanding after banging my head against Wwise for a couple of days is this:
- You can decompile an archive no problem, if you go sign up as a dev with Wwise and puzzle out their software
- You can theoretically Indiana Jones-swap any existing sound
- You cannot, however, recompile the archive into a production state without some sort of manifest or master mapping file that is not included in the compiled archive
If this is all correct, then theoretically we could replace or edit sounds, crudely, if we had that manifest?
I don't know how you feel about major changes to the world, or large content addons, so this is a shot in the dark. But if replacing Wwise with something more customizable is not an option, then at least some trickery could be invoked in swapping sounds around if we could recompile the archive. Right now, there are lots of good projects in the works, and some good non-silly content additions that should really have their own sound files, even music.
Really I'm just salty 'coz I'm a musician. Artists always have the tools available; sound designers sit in the dark and make Sad Trombone sounds
