Towards the later parts of the game, you eventually amass so many characters, that it's sometimes a pain to keep track of them all. Not only that, but once you build a town, you somewhat feel tied to that town, unable to go out and explore while the town you made handles itself. Eventually you just have so many tabs worth of characters that it can sometimes feel overwhelming when sometimes you just want to break off of the responsibility for a bit and explore. This also bogs you down and keeps you from truly capturing other cities and holding them under your rule to create your kingdom.

I bring this up because I suppose I am hoping for a few things:

- Once we get a town/city build, allow us to elect a local leader/mayor for that City/Town. They ultimately will control and automate the settlement, setting up patrols for guards, jobs and react to threats that arise.

- By owning enough settlements, you can establish a government/empire. Electing a leader who will act as the major figurehead, or even perhaps a council.

- You can choose the government type; Democratic, Monarchy, Republic, War culture where leaders can be challenged and only the mightiest rule.

- Choose the laws for your citizens/desired behavior: Do you want your citizens to be lawful and moral? Or do you want to promote your citizens to become war-like and to mount up raiding parties for your Empire for a reward? Do they hate Skeletons? Are they Cannibalistic? This would add SO much to the game. Not only that; but if modifiable; this could add a lot of gameplay and behaviors.

- Establish your uniforms for your army. Your cities will produce armor and weapons for your soldiers, arming them with what you desire [Quality, Weapon Type, Armor Color/type]. This creates an automated system.

- Establish trade lanes and Caravans that will run much needed supplies to your other settlements. Not only would this be excellent for the the empire building. But you could also attack NPC's Caravans in order to hurt their supplies and their settlements.

- Be able to mark certain buildings for certain purposes. For example; I should be able to mark a building as a Tavern or a Weapons Shop. Maybe be able to mark each floor separately? [One floor might be for the Weapons Shop, but the second floor might be the store owners person home.]

- Let us build tunnels, underground bunkers, or into mountains.

Finally, Give us locations to fight for in the world that promote factions to fight over:

- Very Gold-Rich mine? Excellent location to gain resources for whoever can hold it.

- Piece of land that is rich of fertile soil? Claiming this for your empire will ensure your people will not starve.

- Extremely well defend-able location? Perfect for setting up your cities capital. Make it a blood-bath for anyone trying to capture it. But whoever successfully does, gains a iron grasp on that location. [I'm thinking of some sort of super fortress that can be captured by players/npc's]

Anyway, I wont make this more long winded than it already is. Thank you for this amazing game!

I like these ideas :D And if this gets to the game team i just want you to know that i would gladly wait for proper mechanics and game features rather than have it rushed.

That sounds amazing I would love to be able to truly become a powerful warlord in the world of Kenshi I always tried to with the system I had available but it never really felt real the suggestions here would be an amazing addition to the Kenshi experience so if players wanted to they could become a true entity and affect the world in a big way.

That is something I would like to see for the late gameplay.
