I've noticed a lot of workers set to keep something filled, like fuel in generators or plants into the auto-loom, get stuck where they fill the thing, start to walk away, but then it's one short so they loop back to it - fill it again - get 10 steps away, now it's one short, repeat.
Maybe either as the default or as an option, the Auto-Hauler job could only kick in when the receptacle is <= 50% capacity, then top it off? Would prevent a lot of the stutter-step and make it more viable for haulers to have multiple haul-jobs in their "downtime" from any given object, at least a couple. Seems more efficient.
Might be a good subject for AI options, or even a per-object option:
1) Keep filled no matter what
2) Fill only when at 50%
3) Fill only when at 25%
something like that.
[Kenshi 2] Workflow AI: Maybe "auto-haul" triggers at 50%, then tops off?
this is an interesting idea I like this, it's a little bit like what I was thinking about in Kenshi1 where I would have someone mining iron from an iron source putting it in an iron storage and have them make weapons and one of the problems I would have would be the character would get in this situation where they get between the two jobs and just run back and fourth not doing anything. I would love to see this fixed. I thought having them in the list in order of priority would solve this issue but for some reason sometimes it would still end up where I would have someone running back and forth not getting to either destination and just being stuck there running back and forth doing nothing.
another problem I had would be buying a house in a city or town building a storage in it and have my character gather the resource to fill that container but they would get full from the mine and not go to the storage to deposit it even thought it's their job. something to do with being out of range or something because when I move them manually closer to the town they would wake up and finally go store the goods they were gathering instead of just standing there but then they stop again. I move them a bit closer to the mine and they start mining again. this got very frustrating and I would like to see this issue resolved.
