The #1 thing I want to see in Kenshi 2 is expanded tools for modding, especially dialogue modding. As it stands, Kenshi 1 has an easy to use (yay!) but extremely restrictive (boo!) set of tools for making dialogue mods. For example, I can make it so you can pay an NPC money by choosing a dialogue option. However it is impossible to have 'quest items' because dialogue has no option to look for or delete a specific item from the player's inventory (no way to give a NPC a specific weapon or item as a quest turn-in).

This greatly hindered me when I was trying to make my Grease The Wheels mod because the only option for bribing npcs effectively became catans [Kenshi money], and UC is already grifting you for cats so giving another option to pay them seems kind of silly.

As far as I can tell there was also no way to create scenarios such as a duel, where you'd have a single NPC out of a group fight the player, and then the next quest stage or dialogue trees would stem from the results of that fight. This is something that's par for the course in any other game but is sadly lacking in Kenshi 1's FCS editor.

So yeah, Lo-Fi I would really love if you made the modding tools for creating and managing in-game quests, dialogue, and generally all the role-playing side of things more robust. At the very least give us commands for searching a player inventory for a specific item, and removing that item or a quantity of those items (Hello, adventurer! Have you brought those 10 dustwiches I asked for?)

This would be a huge step toward boosting the new game's mainstream popularity, because there's only so much that modders adding new weapons or character models is going to do to drum up interest. The ability for modders to make a more vibrant, interactive and robust world is better for everyone! :3

Edit: New FCS Tool: DM_Remove_Item Is a feature request thread I've posted in the past that explains what I had in mind in greater detail. :)
