Strength is too easy to train!

After the weight you are carrying started to accelerate the strength leveling, my strength has jumped from 40 to 70 in 2-3 hours. It's funny to watch what my strength will be after one week carrying heavy stuff, (572?), but this really needs balancing.
Maybe max 20% bonus??

How do you get your weight that high? I can never get it past 200.
The above post was written in front of a live studio audience.

If you have your character carry another person around all the time, it greatly increases the weight. Better yet, if both you and the other character are decked out in heavy armor, it can boost carry weights to over 300.
Planks are best!

If you talk about the number *572 in my post, I didn't mean carry weight with it.Phaser Rave wrote:How do you get your weight that high? I can never get it past 200.
Sorry if my bad English mislead you
But yes. With shopkeepers backpack you can easily get carry weight almost 400. With little effort, I'm sure it can be over 500

Its not hard to max out strength atm, before it was already really easy because you could use a heavy weapon and your strength would rocket up.
It doesnt help theres a skill cap of 100 right now :S

Almost a year later, and (at least for me) the opposite is true. Maybe there's something I'm not getting...
I have my own method of training to get strength fast. Let them carry heavy stuff, then put heavy stuff into a body/corpse then order them to carry it all the time. But better use a living body, because if you use a corpse and drop it down to fight, it'll disappear and you'll lose all the stuff. Hmm...now looking back at what I wrote they'll become some sort of a disposable bag.
Yeah, I agree. The strength is easy to train, I think every skill is very easy to train too kind to think of it. Wasted money buying a science guy when I could easily train any cadet to become a good researcher.

! Gross!
How about if STR slowly goes back down while you're not carrying heavy loads? Gotta work to stay in shape! Along with this, I'd also like to see mining used as a strength generator. Surely, laboring in a stone/iron mine builds muscle. This way, your musclebound ax man can stay at fighting strength while staying gainfully employed at home. On the other hand, if you want to sit at a research bench all week, expect strength losses...
