Seeing your leader, and friends get slaughtered, and then have the killers look at you afterwards is a very traumatic experience. You know you cannot outrun them. What do you do?
You choose to surrender of course!
That's at least what I would do, and probably some of the bandits of Kenshi would do this too.
So when you have killed 5 bandits, and there is only 1 or 2 left, I suggest they have some sort of "Morale check" much like in Warhammer or other games. The higher points a soldier have in morale, the less chance is there of him fleeing the scene screaming like a little girl. If the enemy does surrender you can choose to show mercy and let him run
Your own squad could perhaps also have morale? I'm not sure this would be a good idea, since it isn't a great idea to lose control over your own fighters. But I personally would like to slaughter 5 bandits, take down the leader and the last bandit? Well I think I would make an "Executioner" for these purposes, a guy with a big axe specifically designed to give the death penalty to my cowardly enemies.
Well that's just my idea, if anyone already made a thread about this, then please just link me to it.
