Spcial Faction Buildings & Technologies as reward for capturing Towns

At start maybe you can buy a shelf in a shop from another shopowner.
It could be a reward to get a house one day in a town to start a very small business, later you could get rewarded for a mission with some kind of blueprint to be able to build up new buildings.

This would be great: Each faction has a very own special building with a special ability and if you later in game capture a whole town from a faction you can get the blueprints for one of those buildings.

And as an addition there could be something that you can only craft if you captured 3 or more different buildings / blueprints from different factions. Special Swords, Gears, Potions, Healthkits, Animals, ..

As this Game is a mix of different gamestyles, I think it would be great to be able to have some basic different Modes.

Sim / Arcade / Hardcore

I like it a litte more like a simulation, so building and research should be much harder than it is right now and take much more time.
For my feeling my town was built up in no time, there was nearly no challange to "achieve" the ability to build houses.

In an arcade mode it could be like it now is and hardcore ... hardcore.

OK 2 modes could be enough, since everything else could and I think will be available through Mods later.

I agree with the faction blueprints, it could play out a decisive factor in town building. However I don't think that buildings should be the only thing, since you could also get "ideas", in other words mass mobilization, more efficient conscription, etc.
In sim... technically, the "challenge" is to make you more powerfull to so then you may have a higher chance to survive, atract people that work and pay taxes, and etc. .They can be used to so then you conscript them and/or train them (and for free, they are people, not mercenaries, it wold be stupid to have to pay to your own people that were conscripted to fight, rather we could just pay them a salary and have to pay them for their equipment) and equip them and make the recently-trained soldiers guard the town.

This one could be a bit difficult:

One faction could build tunnels and buildings underground.

Medieval style faction, Christians built catacombs and there are many left in Europe, there are even catacombs of medieval origin. Although other civilizations might have made this...
