With the different starting conditions I now feel more and more the urge to use multiple save games, please!?

Yeah, about 2-3 saves should be good. Sometimes you wanna star a game differently but not loose all of your progress, and when you feel bored you want to go back to your old save.

While you're waiting for this, you can just make a copy of your save game folder, and copy it back when you want to go back to a different game.
