Lo-Fi Games

So I just realized now, on my Steam version, that there's no means to quit the game and go back to the title screen; quitting the game means having to exit the program entirely and wait for the game to reload so you can play again.

Would it be possible - if not already so - to implement a return to title screen option so you can, upon dying or what have you, go back to the title screen and not have to quit the whole game? It's getting a bit annoying to have to constantly quit the game whenever I die or play with a squad I don't really want to continue with.

F9 is quickload, the only reason you have to go back to the title screen is for easy importing. The downside to an easy import is that it would encourage people to, say, buy all of the Robotics Parts and Narcotics that are for sale in the starting town, and do it again until they were broke. Then you carry them to another town, where they will always be in high demand. Until a more dynamic economy is implemented this feature seems less than useful. There game is to be, eventually, a bit more like a roguelike. Importing and even saving and loading are features that are likely going to change before the release of the game. Currently quickload allows you to rebuild the navmesh and get around some pathing bugs, and importing can allow you to start nearly fresh without any buildings that are bugged, or reset your squads location if you have the rare problem of someone falling through the world. So, it seems unlikely that a return to title screen option would be implemented, as it would encourage people to import repeatedly to build wealth quickly, or use the import reset squad position only feature to go back to Brink at the end of a trading run.

... Now that you put it like that, it makes a lot more sense to not have the return to title screen.
