Swaping around Squad mates Icon on the GUI

As the title say's above I was wandering if someone wouldn't mind making a mod that consists of being able to swap squad mate's around on the bar to better micro-manage. For example You would have
#1 = All your fighters in the order you perfer ( Katana's first , Sabers , e.t.c )
#2 = Medics and Rescuers behinde your fighters on the bar
#3 = Traders/Carries everything for you in last
#4 = Engineers / scientists e.t.c. <City People> ( Maybe if your around your town/ city you built)

#4 is situational and also is everything else , however you would like your troop setup to be you would be able to match and mismatch how you like your squad running.

in our case right now there is only one squad tab so this would be nice

I play with my squad as who does what and make sure their good at it. When adding knew companions with names I don't remember , I tend to forget what role they are performing for our little militia I have going. I don't think it would be that hard since I've seen some GUI mods come out even tho I know this is different for what I'm asking. I do not mod nor do any computer software type of stuff so I personally don't know the process and grind of a request that i'm asking for. I'm sure That i am not the only one feeling this way.

Post if you feel the same way and hopefully someone will answer our call.

Thank you for reading & hopefully a mod soon :) !!!!

Umm, im pretty sure this isnt *yet* possible. Everything to do with squads is currently hard-coded.

You've probably seen the greyed out squad tab. I think everything you want to have done is going to be in there.

I think you'd be better off posting this under feature requests :)

Thank you for the Tip , I'm doing that right now , and yea I understand what you mean and you got a aprox. time on the squad features being added or no?

Also after this response if a admin would like to remove the topic go for it as I re posted in Feature Request

Moved to features request.

Don't forget this is still an alpha, sometimes people forget because of the epic code that is already there. The final version of the game will allow you to control a buttload of people semi-automatically. Squad and faction control screens will be adapted to the awesomeness of the game.

I agree this would be nice.

I'd like to add Squad formations, spacings, and multiple tabs to separate towns and squad mates in other towns added to the GUI.

It is my guess that all of this is probably on the table or has been at least mildly thought about. The developers are just putting their time and energy into a lot more pressing matters. Like getting pathing and trading to work properly.

Yeah for my first 24 hours I was confused, wondering 'how' to swap portraits before realizing this hasn't been implemented yet.

Honestly I think this feature would be a given to be added In a future update. From my understanding of game design something would be wrong if a feature like that is not included in the final product.
