couple of suggestions. i was really hoping that the npc factions such as the cannibals etc would affect cities long term. cannibals come and take prisoners which makes the city ask/pay for rescue. also the lack of citizens will affect the defence and economy of the city. it wont just magically produce more citizens to replace them providing a lot of items and food for a cities economy will make it prosper and grow while cities that dont fare well will be a major source of future bandits. factions also attempting to sieze control of your own town would be good. even more than that though i would like a leadership skill. which allows each of your men to hire npc characters which will follow him around and protect him and defend the town etc but will be otherwise uncontrollable. or have citizens move into your town and work at your facilities for a set wage and you can either hire mercs to guard your town and economy or you have the option to let a town join the united cities and that makes the police guard your town for a price leaving you and your merry men free to roam and plunder. if your personal faction gained enough fame then npc characters would take up your banner and roam around fighting in your name. whether killing bandits and helping allied factions if you are good. or robbing and looting if you are inclined to evil. also attack dogs would be awesome. training and using animals for your own purposes. camels to ride/carry trade goods, cows and pigs to slaughter and sell. plants to make poisons for your weapons or medicines for faster healing or sale. lengthy yeah but this game has massive potential. and i love playing it.

All these features would be really awesome. It is going to be interesting to see what future updates hold for this game in terms of factions and the players level of interaction with them. Your rant is the majority of what I would like to see this game turn into.

Most awesome wall of text. Ever. Also, there won't be mounts, Chris has stated that as many times as santaissick has delivered presents.
