now I've read some of the features, one is replacing severed limbs with robotic parts... not only is that downright freaking awesome, but its also a valuable asset to making this a unique game, but what if you didn't just have to go out and get your arms sliced off just to get a robotic arm??
Why not just get surgery and replace it anyway saves the near death experience just to make a more unique and badass character?

I imagine there can be a large variety of reasons why you wouldn't want to have a robotic replacement instantly. Right off the start, the main problem would be the price. As the world isn't super advanced technologically, a robotic limb replacement would potentially be very costly. Another problem that I could see being implemented in the game is a reduction in your character's skills/abilities (since he is using a replacement). There could also be different types of robotic limbs (expensive, advanced tech that offers less negatives to your skillset, all the way to cheap clunky knockoffs that affects your character severely). If a reduction in skills is too much, there could be a way to remove such a penalty (at some form of expense, such as continuing to train the character for long periods of time, to him to get used to the new mechanical movements of the limb). Of course, however, if you have the necessary money and time for such expenses, I see no reason why there shouldn't be an option to have the limbs replaced without having it chopped off in combat first, hehe. I know I'd do it.

I would enjoy replacing limbs with robotic parts but at high price and lowered stats until you develop skill with that limb. It would add use to robotic parts which right now have no use other than trading maybe they could be used in advanced electronics I do not know how far tech research will go.
