I did a little checking and did not see this in the suggestions list but if it is somewhere oh well this is a good idea to put back out there.
I think we can all agree that it would be great to know when your characters are in combat or if they are working in the field or if they are just sitting idle playing with their swords.
A red outline on the portraits for combat, a green outline if they are doing some sort of labor and maybe no outline at all if they are just twiddling their thumbs.
I made a previous post about the stay feature, I would also like to mention how great it would be if my guys could be set to patrol or stay in a certain area, im certain this has been brought up many times. I know I set my guys in a certain area, then jimmy gets attacked in the hemp field and they all "protect allies" and run at the bandits only to stand around the hemp field all crazy like once they are done, it would be swell if they could be preset to maintain a certain area after they do their duty of defending their buddy.

This would be a great idea because there has been more than one incident where I would be observing my men elsewhere just to see numbers popping up in the background which happened to be my lone soldier against 6 dust bandits. Poor Guy.
