Hi,

I am pretty sure i read in FAQ or somewhere, that Chris is not telling us WHERE and WHEN is the game happening.

But only thing which feels weird in this game for me is that this huge, void, not-suitable-for-living desert is FILLED with people, i can see people dying every moment, tons of bandits, caravan traders, soldiers or ninjas dying - but still there are more, there are thousands wandering the plains.

Looks like this (man) world has some fertility issues really, i am missing some background explaining this.

Any lore hints i missed?

EDIT: some typo. I am pretty sure there are more since i am still learning english

Well one of the things you've missed is the numerous statements that there WILL be other biomes in the game later, the desert was just the first thing Chris built. You should fully expect to see some grasslands, swamps, etc.

Np. If you have some spare time, you should read through some of the old news posts and such on the main site.

also next time, post this sort of thing in the gameplay section. You will get more replies around your topic and even if you post something without the same common knowledge as most people, you wont end up with a dead post.

not trying to be an ass but lore is what you do to justify why something is the way it is, in your game and honestly should be near the last thing added. To much and it will limit the possibilities of a game and choke it, right now just be happy the developer listens
