Town/City Commanders/Faction Leaders

Having a faction leader would be a great thing. being able to run into a city , fight off all the guards, and then kill the faction leader of the city to take it over. i think that would be amazing

I don t know but i think that would rather be already planned, every village needs a leader, no place runs by itself, if not i would agree with that too, at least bigger villages should have someone running (and faction leader it s a no brainer). I guess the "Player" is kinda exceptional as the faction leader (or how you wish to call) is "hidden" .

Or maybe just use "capture the flag" concept. Apply same way to capture the player's outpost too. This will give priority for offense and defense to the AI programming instead of just uncoordinated defense or attacking all enemy buildings...unless for raiding in which attacking/damaging building gives money/resources and equips to ransack.

heyo nope i havent posted about this before, i even searched a bit for a post like this and couldnt find one. I think it would be a great idea to implement "faction leaders" for towns or even overall factions (i.e. kill the emperor of the samurai guys and you take over all their towns or something lol). Having a "boss" type battle could be a lot of fun It was just hearsay on my part though lol, i thought it would be worth mentioning.
