I know there are discussions about weapons but this on is asking historical ones you'd be interested in seeing it game or maybe as a mod
For me the two big ones are the falx (both Dacian and Thracian) and the fransica axe
Any time in history and and culture

Wouldn´t this suit better in gameplay(as in "what ould you like next)?
Something i would like to see would be the Indian sword-whip, forgot the name now, tho i guess would be hard to implement
Not really anything i would like to see, want to be surprised, only thing i would like (close to this), is the weapons of a faction(at least ones which would be inspired), have not just one weapon, but multiple from where those were based + some other factors.

Daggers I don't care from what era or culture although the saxon (and other Germanic tribes) ones look best with all the carvings. We really need daggers with an assassin skill.

I beg to differ.
We really need more skills rather than more weapons, however adding new weapons could help implement these new skills e.g.
slings- ranged skills.
spears- polearm skills.
daggers- sneak/ assassin skills.
We already have variation in basic weapon types (different swords) but swords can get boring.
As for ninja weapons being unrealistic that is true to an extent but so are fables of duel wielding sword barbarians it may not be true yet has mild truth to it such as light daggers being duel wielded.
It wouldn't break immersion.
As for the falx idea... I like it I may make a mod if I can be arsed.

With regards to the Falx mod...
I've considered making a "nomadic" mod with new weapons and apparel as well as maybe tents etc.
I reckon that the falx would fit nicely as a new weapon suited for armour piercing. I've started making some models in the past half hour. Currently has poor texture application but I will fix it later (the textures are great but my application isn't).
If you have anymore ideas let me know.
Textures from these great people:
http://www.deviantart.com/art/Wood-Texture-18640061 (I now replaced the wood texture with a rope one from cg textures)
http://goldberry2000.deviantart.com/art ... 2-72393784
EDIT:I have now added an Axe as well as a secondary thing I may add, Also reuploded images
NOTE: I can't guarantee I will ever find time to make this mod properly.

You will sadly have to wait a while longer but not to long before I make a release :(
The mod I gonna be quite big with at least one new start off as well as new weapons and possibly armour! I have the start offs planned as well as some weapons but I cant think of anymore interesting weapons. You can see my mod thread here!

I think that once the map expands more, and more diverse factions emerge, each major faction should have a distinct weapon set based on different classic civilizations. Chinese weaponry, long swords and the like for a European - like faction, roman/spartan/gladiatorial weaponry for another, Scimitars and such for a Middle Eastern faction. Including armors respectfully as well. Keeping the game solely designed after Japanese culture is nice, but seems too "weaboo", and could use the extra diversity.
