I have just bought this game on steam (20 minutes ago), and it seems I have finally found the type of game I was looking for since i started to play RPGs. So (without playing a minute) here are my first suggestions:
Hunger and thirst (I know they are already suggested) - they must be in the game. If the main objective is survival, they are our motivation to leave some basement (in which we could stand for years and survive
). This leads to GROWING CROPS and ANIMAL HUSBANDRY which can be motivation for bandits and factions to raid our cities and bases. Animals and plants can have a certain number of "food points" ( like in Age of Empires). In this category we can also have hunting and gathering.Faction patrols on their territory - ( like in modded Fallout, IWS) size and strength of patrols depends on faction's current "global status", they attack enemy patrols on sight.
WARS - I don't know if this really can be done, but it would be amazing if factions declare wars on each other and lead large (maybe even huge?) armies to fight each other in some field, or to siege a base ( Mount and blade).
Size of your characters influence your stats - As I saw from screenshots you can make characters in very different sizes, so it would add to realism if larger character have more starting strength and endurance (and gain them more quickly) but less speed and agility. (if this is already implemented just ignore this)
I have many more suggestions, but i guess nobody wants to read too long posts
. Expect them very soon as I'm very (overly) excited about this game.
