- rare drops.
The mobs should at time (very very rare still) drop rare items, like legendary weapons or pieces of armor.

-Treasures.
Exploring is nice but when you can by luck find a treasure it is even better.
The game should generate several treasures, small ones, to big ones the bigger the harder to find, nothin game breaking with an infinite amount of money.
Some money, goods, wepaons armors etc.

- Formations.
A group of characters could be walking in formation, line, wedge, shieldwall etc..
To keep the formation they must move at the speed of the slower man, this is to avoid the stack of men when you grab 20 and you send them to a point and visualy it is nicer.

-Trade counter linked to storage boxes in the same building.
You should give us the possibility to link or not the storage boxex to a counter if they are in the same building.

-Brothel
This is a litle border line but actualy it would be nice to have one in game, the caravans passing by your village would spend time & money with your girls, girls you have previously enlisted.

-Crafting succes and failures.
Personally i like when the crafting results are not set in stone, i like when you have a very small chance to have a better weapon or a bad one, all based on your skill level. a critical succes or failure must be rare anyway. and the result must be minimal anyway like a normal 0.80 sword would be 0.81 to 0.90 with a critical sucess, or with a litle less defense penalty or a litle better offense bonus.

-Hunting
As soon as the wild life will be implemented into the game hunting and selling meat should be possible.

-Owned caravans.
That would be outstanding to have your own caravans, instead of waiting for the customers to reach your outpost you could form your own caravan, with your assigned to the role of merchant and guards.
they will pick the goods available into you storage crates and go sell everything to the nearest towns.
Something only if you have real good warriors!

-Go away.

you should be able to kick a member of your group to enlist a better one, the fired member would try to join the nearest inn to be available again.

-Sand storm?
Sand storms would be nice, and rare, the visibility would be bad and of course the radar would be disabled during a sand storm. :)

Keep up the good work anyway!

edit : Building a village should be much more complicated at least for the possibility to build a village and so the first acquiring the first blueprint. the players should be kind of forced to play as a group, exploring, fighting, trading before building a village, the simple way would be to raise the price of the starter blueprint to something like 200 to 500k!!! (this is clearly too easy) a poll would be needed before.

First read this: http://www.lofigames.com/phpBB3/viewtop ... =16&t=1605

rare drops: suggested (possibly planned?)

treasures: suggested

formations: Suggested and planned

Trade counter linked to storage boxes in the same building: Suggested (I couldn't find the post myself though. Pretty hard to find. But I remember someone talking about choosing which containers will be sold and what not)

Brothel: Suggested

Crafting succes and failures: planned

Hunting: suggested (wildlife will be added in very late development if it even will be added. Hunting comes after that so it's not looking too good for hunting)

Owned caravans: Definitely planned, one of the main features of the game from the very start.

Go away: Suggested and planned

Sand storm: Planned, also other disasters

And about the building: Chris is planning that the city building will be rather big feature of the game and he wants the starter buildings to be pretty cheap and easy to get even early in the game.

I'm personally hoping the outposts and cities and building would be late game feature and the "surviving alone in the harsh world full of big wars and scary bandits" part would last longer. I want that the first squad members you hired had gone through hell to raise the money to build first buildings and the serious coin started rolling in after that.

I want them to go through life in the army for cash, being on both losing and winning side of the war, countless caravan trips, slavery, prison, crime and fighting crime, escaping from cannibals, getting ambushed by bandits, getting revenge from bandits, trying to win a trust of local land lord, visiting a huge monastry on top of the mountain for great power and run away from united cities because you accidentally pooped on samurais helmet before gaining the cash, honor and balls to build your own outpost.

That's what I hope but my visions and devs visions don't always mach. Gotta live with that. :| Still a great game :D

Best of all is that the game is mod able, and you will most likely to do some small alterations to the game to have it just like that as you wish :P

Yep building should be high end, i started over a new game and i had to survive but this is rather easy since you can loot bandits killed by the guards, so IMO.
WE SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO LOOT THE CORPSES KILLED BY GUARDS!!!
Those NPCS are claiming their loot!
Scavenging is too easy, you must first survive, avoid bandits, trade, hunt etc.
You are living in a harsh world your first task must be to survive!!
And building a village should be so so so so so much more complicated, crafting any item should take so so so so so much more time.
If you don't balance your game, with a naked character i will start my viillage after one hour looting corpses, enlisting 700$ guys and buying enough stones to start the building process.
This is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too easy.
You can always offer several starts, the easiest one, any of those offered today and a hardcore one, no loot for bandits killed by guards and blueprints 20 x more expensive.

Remember the game is still work in progress. The bandits and other NPCs will loot their enemies in the future. ANd there's also ton of other survival related things that will harden the game enormously.

For ex. Now we can just run around desert endlessly but after hunger and thirst are added to the game, it gets much harder as you start requiring maintenance for your people and buildings. Add require for rest to slow down venturing and all the new factions who are after your head and you really can't go far from towns without aid from passing caravans or mules and such to carry all the items you need in order to live.

Not to mention all the trading goods and other stuff you need to make your journey profitable...
