Oasis

this game needs a oasis, i am french so my English is not the best. Anyways, if you ever read the alchemist in ancient times (true fact) an oasis was sacred.Bandits and thugs would not dare to attack an oasis unless they really really think they can take it. and this is exactly what this game needs. the player would be safer in a oasis then in the towns but he could still be attacked and captured. plus bandits that attack an oasis will suffer minor diplomacy points with every one that signed a treaty with the specific oasis and they will have a group of mercs on their back. oasis can have wild life, tribes, villages, fresh water, farms, traders, and many more and settling near an oasis would be a really good way for new players to settle in the game.

I don't know if there are oasis in more cold asian deserts like Gobi and this game world look like asian one.

Looks, but is not, in that way you cannot think completely from where it is, Africa or Asia, rather as his own world, i guess oasis have been suggested before, but i don´t think within Kenshi world as i see now a Oasis would been taken as sacred, maybe would rather be the opposite, a center of fight to the best water center, of course with other biomes this could change.

Remember that deserts are just one of the biomes. There will be rainforests and forests and snowy mountain biomes and all that...

But I think that different water sources, such as oasis will come to the desert. I think that they will be implemented at least when hunger and thirst are implemented to get the hydration our squad needs.
