Resource Hauling Vehicle and Drop-off spots

Well, since the dev map shows that "there will be fixed resource points in the game," that would mean we will lose our Stone Mine and Ore Mine at that point.

So, since our squaddies would then be hauling over 10 miles just to reach our base, how much time will that take? MANY MINUTES (real time). So, do you think the devs will come with an easier solution to haul all that resources back to the base? Well, if they did not, then I suggest that they draft in a "Resource Hauling Vehicle" and "a drop-off spot building."

So yeah, one will be able to load all those resource onto a vehicle, then drive it back to the base. Then they will park themselves at a "drop-off point" so that they can unload all the resources. Then the hauler at the drop-off point can go and store those resources or other jobbers can go there to get their required resources. Yeah. Pretty simple. Don't you think? Makes things a little easier.

Simple yes, but not with that, vehicles were already said to not be in game, and i guess you would be able to use the pack mules for that.
And maybe instead of have a base to far from such resource you could move closer, or find a better position with other outposts you had, guess that is also to be part of it, strategical building/planning.

Do you think caravans counts as a..."contraption?"

You mean like a pulling cart for the mule? Not sure, seen many discussions but no idea if they taken as vehicle or not.
