I don't know what everyone else thinks about this, but right now, whenever I start a new game as a "Wanderer" or "Wandering trader" or something, I find it impossible to kill any type of bandit without any help from NPCs, which leads to the tedious "find a group of bandits and drag them back to the town guard, repeat until you're at least twice as strong as the bandit" type playstyle. It's still easy, but makes early game a bit boring.

I know that this'll be fixed by the time the game is completed, but I was thinking that for now it would be easy enough to make some (hungry) bandits start off and spawn with less blood, or a smaller blood cap, or injured limbs, like how we get the option to start with 2 wounded soldiers in one of the game start-offs, just so that the earliest stages of the game are made a little more fun/realistic. I know that it's hardly realistic for an aspiring swordsman to be able to take on an entire group of bandits, but now matter how green he might be, I'd still say that he'd be able to defeat at least one or two half-dead bandits if he had a sword.

Anyway, thoughts on this? So sorry if it's been suggested before, I used search and found nothing.

there will be missions and stuff you will be able to do in the future version of the game.

And starting out, you're not supposed to be able to kill bandits without help. thats the core of the game.
supposed to train your people up until some day you can take out those hungry bandits, the dust bandits and up from there.

for now the game is mostly sandbox play until all the core parts are added.

Hahah, fair enough. Still, maybe I'll mod in just a few "lone hungry bandits" for a bit of extra training at first, or, maybe just to give the desert a bit of a more dangerous feeling, like "oh wow, that could be me if i'm not careful!" :D

im running a Solo Play fanfic more or less and posting it on steam
you can follow it here Females of Kenshi
its to show even with the current state of the game it is playable. and even survivable as a solo player. and really isn't that hard as some people think. just have to follow that run away advice.

Oh, I have no doubt of that. My most played kenshi save is one in which I have only 2 characters (similar enough to 1 character). I guess I got bored of it after a while and maybe that's why I'm thinking this :?
